French bistrot


The French bistrot contributes to French identity. It’s a part of our way of life. The type of food we have in French bistrots, is traditional, authentic, and very tasty. You could find most of our traditional dishes eating in a bistrot. Frogs Kitchen will teach you all over the year the typical cuisine from our bistrots, changing our menus 4 times a year, to offer you something different every season.

Details of the french bistrot menu autumn / winter 2020/2021 :

– French style Leeks in vinaigrette sauce
– chicken breast stuffed with old Comté cheese, chicken sauce aus seasonal glazed vegetable
– Floating islands with caramel

French bistrot cooking class

The course “French bistrot cuisine” will get you to discover the classics of French cuisine. Some of them are updated with new cooking techniques, some others will remain unchanged.
The bistrot remains an authentic place to enjoy typical French stews like veal blanquette, Bourguignon beef, or Marengo brown veal stew. Frogs Kitchen wanted to highlight this traditional, authentic and tasty cuisine, that are part of our roots. All year long, our menus will change depending on seasons, to make you cook typical French menus, for French cuisine lovers.

Details of the course :

We chose this season to give a modern touch to the traditional leeks and vinaigrette sauce starter, by adding a sunflower tiles to it, and pear sweat and sour chutney. Then we will learn how to stuff chicken breast with Comté cheese. We will make our own chicken sauce, and cook seasonal vegetables. Then, as a dessert, you will learn to make floating islands with Crème Anglaise vanilla sauce, one of the most traditional dessert of French cuisine.

Our chefs are coming to your house or holiday home, with all necessary material and ingredients, so you can enjoy the moment without taking care of anything else.
Our chefs are passionate about French cuisine and will teach you all their little cooking tricks during a friendly and tasty class.

Course schedule

You can invite friends and family to join you for dinner, to taste together the meal you would have prepared, for an extra 15€ per person.
After your booking, you will receive our confirmation e-mail and one of our chef will call you to confirm your reservation within 48h of your booking. He will check with you what materials you have at your location and what may need to be brought. He will also explain any additional information around the course.
